Part A Retainer Services

Our clients that take advantage of our Part A Retainer Services have access to monthly support as needed. The service includes a set number of hours per month, selected by our client, during which we provide consulting for coding, billing, and general compliance inquires.

What This Service Includes

Inquiries may include:

  • Appropriate coding assignment (ICD-9-CM, DRG)
  • Clinical documentation issues
  • Medical necessity issues

Upon receiving the inquiry, we will:

  • Validate the inquiry within 48 hours (two business days)
  • Resolve the inquiry within 72 hours (three business days)

    • The retainer advisement services are generally restricted to those “tasks” that can be performed “off-site.”
