What can you do? |
Here's what we're doing:
- Our business cards are printed on 100% recycled paper.
- We have recycling collection bins in our kitchen.
- We recycle our used toner cartridges.
- We recycle all of our cans, glass bottles, plastic bags and plastic bottles.
- Every scrap of paper that goes out our doors is shredded and recycled by Shred-it.
- We use flat-panel monitors to reduce the electricity our company consumes.
- To preserve fossil fuels and reduce CO2 emissions, we conduct webinars, where each participant can view and listen from the comfort of his or her own desk.
- We don't purchase bottled water-we drink filtered tap water (approximately 56 billion plastic bottles accumulate in landfills each year).
- We reuse paper for faxes, one-sided copies, scratch paper, until there is no paper left.
- If it doesn't have to be printed, we don't print it - most of our records are sent electronically, so we never have to touch a paper copy, and we can work from our monitors.
- We buy recycled products when we can, in the form of paper, pencils, notepads, folders, paper towels, etc.
- That cute green bag on our home page - soon every MMP employee will be carrying them everywhere we go. Click here to learn why
